Project Management/Contract Administration is the full financial and construction management of a project from it`s inception to handover. A brief summary of what it incorporates is as follows:

STAGE 1- PRE CONTRACT ELEMENT
  • Inspection of the proposed works & preparation of the tender documentation, including the type of Contract best suited to the project, producing a detailed Specification & Schedule of Works, in liaison with any appointed design team.
  • Procuring suitable contractors and sending out tenders. Analysis of tenders received and production of a report with recommendations.
  • Placing the contract with the approved contractor.
STAGE 2- POST CONTRACT ELEMENT

  • Supervising the project with regular site visits to ensure the quality and programme are achieved.
  • The financial management of the project incorporating Valuations of work carried out, valuing and checking Variations and agreeing the Final Account.
  • Issuing the Practical Completion Certificate following snagging of the works.
  • Handing over the project to the client.
